For the second year CRAVE Catering in Minneapolis gave one lucky Bride $10,000 towards her dream wedding! For those unfamiliar with the contest, our talented catering team met with many brides to-be and created customized event plans that were used as a submission into the contest. Recently, we selected our lucky winner at random and surprised her over Skype.

This year’s winner, Rachel Glotter, was almost the last to learn that she won! Rachel lives and works in New York, so we first shared the big surprise with her mom, Debbie. Debbie had the difficult task of not fainting or spilling the beans. She managed to keep the secret from everyone, including the grooms mother, Judy, until we were ready to surprise Rachel.

Heidi Damico, Rachel’s sales manager, invited both mothers in for a Skype meeting with Rachel to discuss further wedding details. After cutting and subbing  various menu items, Heidi broke the news to Rachel. The real reason they were having this meeting was to award her $10,000 and a giant check!

Rachel is looking forward to an amazing wedding this June at Aria in Minneapolis.
