Food & Wine. Separately these are wonderful things. But what happens when you put the two together, add Target Field, hundreds of liquor vendors, nearly as many restaurants and caterers in Minneapolis and from around the Twin Cities, and a throng of passionate foodies and winos? LOL.
The answer is Minnesota Monthly’s annual “Food & Wine Experience”.
The event, attended by thousands, has become a must for everybody who is anybody in the liquor and food business…not to mention any and all wine and beer enthusiasts. Naturally we at CRAVE Catering saw this as an opportunity that was too good to pass up, so we decided to dive in and prepare ourselves for the madness that was sure to come our way on March 3rd and 4th, 2012.
I, Marketing Manager at CRAVE, worked directly with members of Minnesota Monthly on behalf of CRAVE Catering to setup CRAVE Catering’s presence and presentation at the event. During the planning stages, MN Monthly staff members Tom Gavares, Sara Soli, and Eric Wood were invaluable resources. A big thanks to them!
CRAVE Catering was located in the “Washington State Wines” room, where it was joined by some of WSW’s top wines, as well as sister restaurants Sopranos Kitchen and Urban Eatery. Our space was a nice, big wooden table top at the very tip of the entrance to the room. The Catering décor team decided this space would be best suited to feature some of our creativity, and decided on some interesting décor.
