Like stepping into a romance novel, The Charleston Event Center offers elegance and class in an unforgettable mansion venue. Our private Veranda with dock and pond, Parlor, and walkout Ballroom evokes a by-gone era of delicacy, service and hospitality one would imagine in their dreams.

Ballroom: Our walkout Ballroom, with brick and French doors, beckons you to the old-fashioned rope swing, fire pit and dock with private pond. The ballroom accommodates 250 for a seated dinner and up to 330 for cocktail events. Bar service on the Ballroom level keeps the party going inside and out. The mix of brick, columns and crown with hardwood floors and exposed ceiling is how we mashup “Southern Charm and Midwest Flair”. 

Veranda: Private, wooded outdoor space for ceremonies, dancefloor or Social Hour/Reception gatherings. Built-in seating for 30, but can accommodate 150 for an outdoor ceremony. Optional additional seating on the lawn for another 100 guests. Lawn games and fire pit provided. 

Parlor: Our impressive Parlor is furnished in lavish drapery, tufted leather furniture, granite cocktail tables and an expansive overlook view of the wooded pond area. Bar service is available on this level and makes for a upscale Social Hour. 

Mezzanine: Overlooks the Parlor area and reveals the full “mansion feel” of the open staircase and gives your guests three levels to explore. With cocktail tables and seating, this area accounts for all the introverts at your event!

Bridal Suite: Every bride’s favorite part is the private Bridal Suite, complete with 2 dressing rooms to include a “Mother’s Suite”. This favorite amenity is included in the venue fee and provided exclusively to the Bridal Party for the entire day. For corporate events, this space serves as the “Green Room”.
